autodock3: wrong number of values read in. Check grid map!
This Error Reference applies to:
AutoDock 3, AutoDock 4
This Error Reference is intended for:
Any audience.
When using AutoDock, I get the error message: "autodock3: wrong number of values read in. Check grid map!".
This error is caused by AutoDock comparing the number of energy values read in from your AutoGrid maps with the value it expects in the ".fld" file. If they do not match, there is something wrong with either your maps or your "fld" file. It is possible that AutoGrid ran out of disk space while trying to finish writing the grid "map" files. You may need to re-run AutoGrid after creating space for it to output the grid maps, or on a different disk with more room.
Note that this error can also occur with AutoDock 4, but the program name will be different:
autodock4: wrong number of values read in. Check grid map!
